Denipro’s standard deniway now as an accumulating conveyor

17 August 2015

The creativity of the Denipro engineers and their potential for innovation is demonstrated by the new roller elements, simply set into Deniway select’s plates, allowing selective accumulation and reacceleration of the transported items.

Swiss manufacturer Denipro AG are specialists in rolling conveyor technology. The advantages of this principle: less friction and wear, plus far less energy consumption and maintenance. As a system supplier, Denipro stands for relatively simple solutions with a totally modular concept that offer customers high added value.

Over the years, Denipro has established a reputation within the intralogistics sector thanks to a number of conveyor technology innovations.

The principle of rolling instead of sliding is a concept that has been universally adopted by the Swiss conveyor technology specialist, comes into its own in a striking way. When the rollers which are set into the plates are locked, the system will operate just like the standard Deniway model. The rollers act like rubber buffers, to which the transported items adhere perfectly, even on steep inclines or spiral sections. As soon as the rollers are unlocked and are free to rotate, the continuous flow of materials is halted, and the transported items will accumulate. Subsequently, the items can accelerate back up to speed. A single motor is enough for a conveyor section up to 200 metres in length and for the user, this design pays off because of the high degree of installation flexibility and process security obtained by relatively simple means the user will also benefit from reduced wear, less energy consumption, lower CO2 emissions and lower maintenance costs.

The systematic application of modular Deniway technology means that not only demanding layouts become a reality, but also a diverse range of logistics tasks. The basic requirements are covered by a few standard components like the C-channel, plate chain, accumulating conveyor element and return drive unit. With such a line-up, which has been reduced to a minimum, complex circuits and sections can be realized, even in the tightest of spaces. Existing buildings with severe space restrictions and awkward floor plans are also no problem for the easy-to-integrate system.

Configured for medium-sized transport items, the Deniway system masters major height differences in style. Speeds up to 1.5 metres a second are completely routine. For customers eager to make the change and wishing to take advantage of the opportunities that come with the new model, Denipro is offering one huge advantage: the problem-free integration of the new Deniway select system into existing Deniway installations.
