New compensator for smoother shake free air handling

22 June 2012

Jacob (UK) has introduced a new range of electrostatically conductive flexible compensators for reducing unwanted vibration in modular pipework system

The JACOB Compensator is manufactured in stainless steel, with a press formed connection to the extruded flexible sleeve, manufactured from either EPDM (Keltan) in black (as pictured) or polyester/polyurethane for the transparent version.

The JACOB Compensator has excellent electrostatic conductive properties for conveying granular or dusty products liable to attract static electricity.

The compact design of the JACOB compensator at just 200 mm long and with diameters from 80-300 mm, makes it ideal for a wide range of modular pipework applications.

Jacob (UK) Director John West said: “The latest range of JACOB Compensators enhance the ability of modular pipework systems in conveying and distributing granular products. It marks a major step forward in pipework technology and offers huge benefits for designers and manufacturers, where high specification, modular pipework systems set higher standards with greater product visualisation, for conveying food items, drugs, seed and animal feed products.
