For steam boiler owners without a service contract, solving boiler issues can be a stressful and costly exercise - as even the smallest of problems can incur high call-out charges

That was until now. Responding to a growing need for a cost-effective alternative, CFB Boilers has launched a dedicated technical helpline specifically for steam boiler operators who are not covered by maintenance or service plans. They are the first major steam boiler manufacturer to explicitly offer such a service.

Available to anyone - whether they operate a steam boiler from CFB Boilers or any other brand - the technical helpline will provide expert advice on the spot, and at minimal cost. It will be manned by CFB Boilers’ own engineers, all of whom posses a high-level of practical and theoretical knowledge on solving steam boiler problems.

According to Derek Parish, Managing Director at CFB Boilers, this crucial service fulfils a big demand in the market: “There are a lot of steam boiler owners who don’t have a service contract in place, but often the problems that occur are simple ones which can be diagnosed and solved safely over the phone.

“In many cases, this avoids the need to call an engineer out to the site, which of course saves a lot of money. It also saves time and means that production can get back to normal very quickly,” he explained.

CFB Boilers’ technical helpline can be reached on 0844 880 5844. From a BT landline, calls cost between 6 and 8p per minute. Costs from other operators may vary.
