Kemtile show ceramic and seamless floors at Foodex -Stand M250

12 March 2012

Kemtile has been a supplier and installer of hygienic seamless and ceramic flooring to the food and drink industry since 1979 and our professional approach in this exacting and time sensitive market is appreciated by our customers

We have a range of products to suit virtually every application in the dairy, food, beverage and packaging industries. On our stand this year is a water feature showing both ceramic and seamless flooring in action together with Wiedemann stainless steel channels, coving and kerbs in a typical installation.

Kemtile install ceramic tiled floors using the Kagetec sonic vibration method for installation which includes the bedding screed, adhesive and tile to provide a durable floor finish. Kagetec tile provide the ideal floor for the food, beverage or pharmaceutical industries.

Where there are areas where spillages occur and drainage is required Kemtile recommend Wiedemann stainless steel drainage channels to compliment their flooring systems. Kemtile have worked with Wiedemann for over 20 years and have found that its range and quality is far superior to other drainage systems.

Hygienic floors can be either resin or ceramic. The heavy duty resin floor can be laid directly to the installed structural concrete or onto a suitable underlayment screed. In either case the floors can be installed flat or more suitably to "falls" for drainage. Heavy duty resin floors are designed to be hard wearing, provide both chemical and shock resistance and have a slip-resistant surface which complies with The Health and Safety Executives –Food Document number 22/slips and trips in the food industry. For specific areas an anti-static version is available where powder mixing or chemicals are stored.

In addition to floors we now have a new range of hygienic wall finishes – Protectorseal which provides a seamless hygienic wall finish that is steam cleanable, tough and durable.

Why not visit our stand M250 for a discussion about your next floor?
