Hydrogen-ready vertical steam boiler

Fulton has announced that its VSRT vertical steam boiler has been awarded hydrogen-ready status.

Following independent testing and evaluation to BSi requirements at Enertek International’s R&D facility in Hull, the VSRT has demonstrated its capability to operate safely and efficiently with hydrogen-natural gas blends (up to 23%). 

Carl Knight, Managing Director at Fulton, said: "We are thrilled to receive the hydrogen-ready status for our VSRT steam boiler, making it the only purpose-built vertical steam boiler and burner combination tested and ready for Hydrogen.” 

The VSRT boasts other sustainability credentials – its ultra-low NOx emissions contribute to a cleaner environment, while its thermal efficiency translates into energy savings and reduced operational costs.
