Replacement screw auger for 20 year old screw conveyor

Solids handling company, Ajax Equipment, has supplied Essentia Protein Solutions, a protein producer for the food processing industry, with a replacement stainless steel screw auger for a screw conveyor originally supplied by Ajax over 20 years ago.

Ajax Equipment has worked with Essentia on several projects, most recently supplying an inclined twin screw feeder to improve the handling of pork rinds through the West Midlands factory.

“It’s a pleasure to pick up the phone to Ajax, on the one hand we can have a plain and open conversation about what I think I need, and then on the other, Ajax will suggest improvements that I hadn’t thought of. The example in this case is the level of finish on the replacement screw. By listening to their team I have improved my cleaning time just by having a more polished finish,” said Paul Setchell, Factory Manager at Essentia Protein Solutions.
