Anti-static polyurethane film for transfer of combustible media

PolyATEX is a clear polyurethane film which is anti-static under the requirements of IEC60079-0:2018 clause 26.13; as a result it is suitable for use in ATEX/IECEx equipment.

This feature is particularly crucial in industries and applications where combustible dust may be present, as static charges can cause explosions or fires. 

Using PolyATEX to manufacture gaskets, sleeves, connectors or chutes that transfer any combustible media is said to reduce the likelihood of dust explosions occurring.

Aside from its anti-static properties, the FDA-compliant material is also free of latex and PVC, making it popular for use in food contact applications.
