Fast and hygienic delta robot

The KR 3 D1200 is the latest delta robot model from KUKA, which is well-suited to pick-and-place applications with a payload of 3k, but capable of carrying up to 6kg. It is part of the Hygienic Oil (HO) portfolio. With a load of 1kg it can offer a cycle time of less than 0.32 seconds.

To help avoid downtimes, the KR DELTA has been designed to be low-maintenance, with encapsulated gears with lifetime lubrication and self-lubricating ball joints.

The robot contains food-safe H1 lubricants as standard, which qualifies it for handling foodstuffs in secondary applications. In particular, dry, packaged products such as chocolate, bread or sweets. For direct contact with raw foods the Delta robot KR 3 D1200 HM (Hygienic Machine), is available.
