A new dimension in slicing?

The SLX 2000 is the first of a new generation of slicers from Multivac.

The high-output slicer can be designed for up to four tracks and is said to achieve a high slicing speed whatever the product, with a maximum length of up to 1,600mm can be gently sliced, even at warmer temperatures. 

After slicing, the product is deposited on a portioning system in a predefined arrangement pattern. Technology ensures that the products are fed into the slicer consistently, and that the slicing results in minimal trim and give-away.

The SLX 2000 can be used as a stand-alone unit or as a module within a fully automatic slicing and packaging line.
