Lifetime-lubricated bearings offer benefits in food production

NSK’s Life-Lube bearings combine the corrosion-resistant properties of Silver-Lube thermoplastic polyester (PBT) housings with the sealing and lubricating properties of Molded-Oil inserts. 

Life-Lube units are said to offer savings in food and beverage plants from reduced downtime and maintenance costs. The bearing units can withstand the harsh environments seen in many food processing environments, while also preventing any contamination of the processing environment.
