Easy to install cold storage solution

Tony Twine, product sales senior manager at J & E Hall explains how an easy to install cooling system has been finding applications in food processing. 

Lockdown has changed the way we all work. People have shown how adaptable they can be in a crisis by taking on challenges not normally associated with their skills and products have been put to uses not considered when they were originally designed.

Just one example of this is offered by Tony Twine, product sales senior manager at J & E Hall who has explained how an easy to install cooling system has been finding applications in food processing. The company’s recently extended Cellar Plus Cooling System range now includes nine models. The new 7kW and 8kW cellar coolers, with their increased capacity and longer pipe runs, are finding applications beyond pubs, bars and restaurants.

“With a temperature range of 4°C to 15°C the range have the versatility to offer product cooling in different industries,” said Twine. “They are well suited for cold storage and have made their mark in the food processing industry which has played a key role in keeping us all fed during the Coronavirus pandemic.” 

There are nine models in the range operate at capacities from 2.87kW to 8kW and the units are sold as a system with the condensing unit, controller and evaporator which helps with installation. “All that is required is to add the pipework, charge the system with refrigerant and switch the electricity on,” said Twine.
