High-speed bacon slicing solution

Interfood Slicing, a division of Interfood Technology, is set to launch the new Textor TS750 bacon specific high-speed slicer. 

The latest machine continues with the Textor design philosophy of ‘Smart and Easy’. Focusing on operational simplicity and secure and fast hygienic requirements with minimum maintenance requirements in a powerful compact machine.

Central to the new slicer is the new ‘Performance Blade and Blade Head’ which is designed to meet the challenges of slicing bacon. It is suited to twin log bacon slicing offering slice and stack quality within a greater temperature range, even at slicing speeds of up to 1,500 cuts per minute.

The TS750 is said to offer advantages in terms of footprint reduction and performance. The machine’s proactive scanning system is integrated into the slicer rather than being a separate module, which reduces overall line length. An integrated vision system provides high definition optical measurements at high transport speeds. 
Coupled with a track independent loading and slicing system capable of handling two backs, two single/double streaks or loins, the machine offers an efficient solution for slicing natural shaped and irregular size and weight products simultaneously. 
The machine also feature the Textor positively driven portioning system, ensuring secure stacking/shingling and transfer of frozen and tempered bacon products.
