Centralised vacuum systems for safe and hygienic food production

08 July 2019

Dustcontrol UK has launched a new process extraction and general cleaning range for the food industry. The product line of centralised vacuum systems contribute to safe and hygienic food production.

The Good For Food (GFF) range has been designed to offer a source extraction system that can be fully integrated into the production process for recycling, or used as a centralised vacuum cleaning system, with some items designed for installation into zone 22 applications, according to ATEX Directives 2014/34/EU.

The GFF brushes are antistatic and ESD certified, with a material composition that makes them detectable via metal detector as well as being autoclavable up to 121 degrees Celsius, allowing for high-pressure saturated steam cleaning.

The brushes’ colour coding also allows for different applications in the factory, or different days of the week, depending on need.

When fully integrated with all GFF components, the system includes flap valves, suction brushes, flat nozzles, hose connectors, tubing system, joints, pre-separator, automatic shutter valves and filter units.
