Schoeller Allibert takes bulk containers to the max

06 January 2016

Schoeller Allibert has further enhanced its commitment to help companies reduce their environmental impact with the launch of the MaxiLog® bulk container range.

The latest offering from Europe’s largest manufacturer of plastic returnable transit packaging (RTP) is 20% lighter than previous generations, helping users to reduce their fuel costs and carbon footprint. Built for heavy duty industrial applications, MaxiLog® is strong; safely carrying unit loads of up to 450kg and stacking up to ten units high.

Schoeller Allibert has implemented curved corner pillars within the design of the MaxiLog® which ensures stability when stacked, while also increasing its hygienic properties. The new design sees the introduction of a sloped horizontal surface to help speed the cleaning process. As the surface is sloped, water is able to drain at a quicker rate, while  also preventing water and ice retention if stored outdoors.

The improved boxes are easy to clean and empty and suitable for deep freezing, making them ideal for the food processing industry. MaxiLog® also includes a host of identification options to speed up automated and manual handling operations, while printing company logo and contact details helps to identify the containers as the owner’s property and promote brand identity.

MaxiLog® has optional anti-slip plugs to improve safe handling on fork lifts and can also be manufactured with a drain valve for liquids handling operations.

Danilo Oliynik, Managing Director UK & Eire of Schoeller Allibert, said: “Hygienic, light and strong, the new MaxiLog® range has been developed to help customers improve the process of handling and transporting products in a cost-efficient way.”
