A cow wash? Don't be udderly ridiculous!
It started in its native Sweden, where it sold 30,000 - an automatic brushing machine which is said to improve milk production. Now it's heading for the UK. According to designers DeLaval, cows love the feeling of getting brushed, so much so that it can boost milk production by 3.5%. According to a recent US study, the brush resulted in better animal health and increased blood circulation. More than 50 people a day have illegal foods seized at ports and airports when entering the UK, the latest figures show More than 21,200 illegal personal food items, such as meat and dairy products, brought in from non-EU countries were seized by UK enforcement agencies such as the UK Border Agency last year, under EU rules intended to protect people, livestock and crops from exotic pests and diseases.
