EHL Ingredients 'sows seeds of success' (02 February 2012)
Christmas 2011 was the ‘best ever’ for EHL Ingredients, which reports a 20% increase in sales during December. This boost to the business will stand EHL in good stead for 2012 as it plans further growth and company expansion including a recruitment drive, product development and investment new machinery at its head office in Stockport, Cheshire.

A fast-expanding Cornish brewery has exceeded £4 million sales for the first time in 2011. Skinner’s Brewery’s best-ever year has seen turnover rise by around 12%, partly through another increase in activity nationwide.

'Cranberry juice prevents recurrences of urinary tract infections' (02 February 2012)
New research has revealed that cranberry juice can help reduce recurrences of urinary tract infections (UTIs) in children. The results, published in Clinical Infectious Diseases, show that the cranberry’s well-documented role in preventing recurrent UTIs in adult women also has the potential to benefit younger patients.
