Description : Our client has asked us to provide suitable qualified candidates for this exceptional opportunity within one of the North West’s leading food manufactures.
Reporting to the Technical Director on site you will take responsibility for the management and organisation of a highly skilled technical quality team. Ensuring key performance indicators are set and targets reached you will have experience working with major supermarket companies while ensuring BRC accreditation is maintained.
Working on the senior management team you will help provide the business with a well trained and competent department. Working to KPI’s you will guide your team to hitting key targets that are set by the business ensuring food standards compliance and legal obligations are met.
Our candidate will have a strong emphasis on man management and have at least 2/3 years working in a similar role. You must be able to develop a strong effective team capable of achieving high standards. You will ensure a tight control over cost and have sole budgetary control.
The successful candidate will be from a Quality or Technical background and will have an excellent knowledge of food, beverage or fmcg standards. This is a days based role working Monday to Friday but some flexibility will be needed with the job. Our candidate will receive a basic salary of c£35,000 + benefits package.
