Description : This is a newly created position for a Food Business who are expanding and have previously used external resource rather than appoint their own Finance Manager so this is a great chance to really make your mark!

This person will be responsible for managing a small team and will form part of the senior team together with the Site Manager, Development Director and Commercial Director; reporting into the M.D. This individual will be required to take a pro-active approach to Finance and if you have had any involvement with I.T. in the past this would be an advantage. Must have previous experience running a finance team within a Food Manufacturing business, ideally with exposure to supplying a mixture of foodservice and retail customers. Knowledge of the purchasing function would be an advantage as would knowledge of importing and exporting goods (working with exchange rates etc). There is a car with the role and also the potential for a bonus to supplement the base salary. These are exciting times for this company and it is a great time to join this dynamic team. Experience with small and medium-sized Food businesses would be preferred to experience only within very large organisations.
