Schoeller Allibert takes the biscuit with tray promotion

14 August 2015

Sweet savings are available on a range of confectionery and bakery ‘oven to shelf’ trays from Schoeller Allibert, the world’s largest manufacturer of plastic returnable transit packaging (RTP).

The promotion offers a tasty discount on orders placed before the end of September, enabling bakeries to plan ahead for the pre-Christmas rush by ensuring sufficient supply of their chosen RTP.

Designed for hygienic out-of-the-oven to point-of-sale handling and distribution of a wide range of baked goods, the polypropylene stacking trays can be cross-stacked to speed cooling and stagger-stacked to show off the produce within. Using the same tray for all aspects of processing helps speed up production and reduce waste by eliminating the need for additional packaging.

The price promotion applies to both solid and ventilated trays and models.  Strong and durable, and with a working temperature range of -30°C to +80°C, they are equally at home in fridges and freezers or for holding a variety of baked goods straight from the oven. The trays are available in 22, 32 and 48 litre capacities, with optional lids to protect goods in storage or transit and there is also an optional dolly available for ease and speed of manual handling.

Danilo Oliynik, UK Regional Director of Schoeller Allibert, commented: “We’ve anticipated the pre-Christmas demand for sweet treats, from cakes and pastries to chocolates and patissierie, and our promotion will help customers fulfil this rush. Using the same tray from the moment goods leave the oven to the second they’re selected by a customer speeds up the delivery process without compromising on hygiene or the quality of the finished product. We recommend customers place their orders as early as possible ahead of the September 25th closing date.”

The trays’ smooth sides are ultra-hygienic and easy to clean, as they can withstand temperatures of up to 90°C within industrial washers. As with all Schoeller Allibert RTP containers, they can deliver many years of service, representing considerable savings over limited-trip alternatives.
