AB Systems Launch Chiller Warranty and Aftercare Programme

30 April 2015

Cooling and materials handling specialist, AB Systems, has launched an industry-leading warranty and aftercare programme for new and existing chillers.

Offering unrivalled customer support, the 3 Year Warranty 24/7 Plus and Service 24/7 Plus packages are characterised by a number of standout features, such as 24/7 alarm monitoring and GSM alarm text alerts to engineers, both of which enable AB Systems to proactively solve potential issues before they occur, thus significantly minimising the risk of expensive production loses. The warranty packages apply to market-leading Novafrigo chillers, for whom AB Systems is UK distributor, while all chiller brands are covered by the Service 24/7 Plus agreement.

Companies looking to purchase new chillers can benefit from AB Systems’ 3 Year Warranty 24/7 Plus package. Comprising 24/7 alarm monitoring, GSM alarm text alerts, comprehensive cover including all parts, labour, breakdown and call outs, two service visits and three years of data transfer, the agreement offers exceptional value.

To improve the longevity, performance and productivity of existing chillers, companies can take advantage of AB Systems’ Service 24/7 Plus agreement. The aftercare programme benefits from fixed price servicing from £325 per visit for the first chiller, while subsequent chillers are offered the same high level of service on a reduced sliding scale rate.  To ensure that chiller systems benefit from AB Systems’ 24/7 alarm monitoring service, existing chillers will be fitted with a GSM Monitoring Data Package at a significantly reduced rate.

A standard service agreement Service Plus is also available and offers chiller servicing from just £200.

Servicing on all packages will be carried out by AB Systems’ in-house, qualified engineers to maintain continuity and a high standard of technical skill.

“AB Systems set out to offer one of the best warranty and aftercare services in the industry, and we’re confident that we’ve achieved that aim. Few businesses can afford the consequences of unexpected downtime, poor system performance and repair bills. Our Warranty 24/7 Plus and Service 24/7 Plus packages not only deliver exceptional value for money – something that we can offer thanks to the incredible reliability and build quality of Novafrigo chillers – but also total peace of mind. The fact that we can contact a client’s engineers on site to fix potential issues before they even occur is going to save businesses untold time, hassle and money,” explained Jeff Day, Managing Director of AB Systems.

AB Systems is fully FGAS compliant and offers complete FGAS traceability. In addition to servicing and maintenance, manufacturers can benefit from AB Systems’ 20 years of experience and expertise in system design and installation in both process cooling and materials handling systems, as well as fast dispatch on parts, which are stocked at AB Systems’ purpose-built facility in Buckinghamshire.
