tna’s high performance confectionery solutions are tasty treats at ProSweets 2015

09 December 2014

Integrated packaging and processing solutions provider tna will showcase its range of high performance total systems at ProSweets 2015.

Experts from tna’s global team will present a complete choice of confectionery solutions, including the ground-breaking tna robag® FX 3ci vertical, form, fill and seal (VFFS) packaging solution that delivers high speeds of up to 250bpm combining the very best in performance with flexibility and simplicity. tna will also exhibit the tna roflo® HM 3, a horizontal motion distribution system designed to minimise product loss with low force operation and optimise total control over speed and direction.

tna’s robag® FX 3ci high speed VFFS packaging machine delivers a sugar rush with up to 250 bpm from a single unit and offers production flexibility in a compact, easy-to-clean system that is particularly suited to pre-wrapped sweets. This innovative system ensures high visibility of operation, minimises downtime and offers an extended product lifespan. Additionally, tna has made it even easier to operate the robag® FX 3ci by simplifying the film system and upgrading the user screen (GUI), as well as increasing speed and accuracy to provide up to a 30% improvement in both output and reduction of rejects.

Also on show is tna’s leading-edge horizontal motion conveyor, tna roflo® HM 3, which provides optimal efficiency while gently distributing goods to minimise losses and breakages. Ideal for heavy coated confectionery products, the tna roflo® HM 3 has an easy-to-clean design to help manufacturers comply with strict HACCP and QA standards and reduce waste, as well as produce the highest quality products.

Andre Tombult, general manager for Central Europe at tna, comments: “We are very excited to showcase our latest and most innovative products at ProSweets 2015. Backed by our start-to-finish solutions approach and recent merger with food processing specialist FOODesign, we’re eager to partner with past, present and new customers and turn their confectionery challenges into profitable opportunities.”
