Vikan 'Think Pink' in support of the fight against breast cancer

16 October 2014

Vikan are supporting the UK's Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg.   Charity No. 1080839) through a special nationwide promotion of their pink tool range.

Food manufacturers are key customers of the Vikan colour-coded tool ranges and they are also major employers of women.   In selecting the Pink Ribbon Foundation to receive a donation worth 15% of net wholesale sales of all UK pink products between October-December 2014, Vikan hope to make a real difference to the lives of many women and their families.

The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant-making trust which funds projects and provides financial support to UK charities working to relieve the needs of people suffering from or being affected by breast cancer or charities working to advance the understanding of breast cancer, its early detection and treatment.

Pink is a recent additional colour to Vikan's hygienic colour-coded range and is designed to improve a company's internal hygiene, control and quality management systems and comply with internal/external hygiene audits.     Vikan's pink product range comprises brushes, brooms, scoops and scrapers, squeegees, handles, wall brackets.   In fact with their pink range, Vikan have more products in more colours.

To add your support to the Pink Ribbon Foundation,  look out for Vikan's 'Think pink, think responsible' campaign featuring the pink ribbon logo and specify 'pink' when ordering supplies.
