Food Processing is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the Food Processing Awards 2014. The Awards will take place at Hinckley Island Hotel on 21 October 2014 and we'd like to invite you to nominate companies to win in one of our food engineering and processing categories. Nominations close on 18 August 2014.

The prestigious awards, which are voted for by the food and beverage industry themselves, are running the following categories:

Company of the Year [sponsorship opportunities available]
Companies that have excelled in any particular area of food and beverage processing. Entrants should have been in business for at least two years

Packaging Solutions [sponsored by PPMA]
For innovation in design disciplines applied to the packaging and/or the use of packaging to enhance a product

Robotics & Automation [sponsored by Scorpion Vision]
A partnership involving the application of robotics or automation equipment in a food or beverage processing environment

Energy Management [sponsored by KUKA]
For partnerships that have demonstrated a real achievement in energy efficiency in the food processing industry

Hygiene Solutions [sponsorship opportunities available]
Innovations in products and services to achieve a hygienic food or beverage processing environment

Environmental Solutions [sponsored by ACO Building Drainage]
For partnerships that have demonstrated a real achievement in environmental solutions in the food processing industry

Technological Development [sponsored by Balluff]
For the most significant technological innovation a food or beverage processing environment.

Skills & Development [sponsored by Festo]
For an apprentice that has shown extraordinary progress and development in their role at a food/beverage processing or manufacturing company.
