Automation and integration expert Pacepacker Services is hosting a rare opportunity for manufacturers to view a turnkey bulk handling packing line, Tuesday 4 March 2014. Incorporating the latest weighing, bagging, metal inspection, palletising and stretch wrapping equipment, the event will take place at Pacepacker’s Essex-based manufacturing facility (just off the M11, junction 8).

Live demonstrations

Pacepacker is an automation integrator and manufacturer of bagging, palletising and pick & place robot technology for the food and agricultural industries. Winner of eight industry awards in 24 months, Pacepacker’s bagging and palletising line will demonstrate supreme efficiency, high speeds, flexibility and perfect pack presentation. This is a not to be missed event for any food, agricultural and bulk handling manufacturers that handle and pack loose products into sacks, boxes and crates. Free to attend, delegates will have the chance to quiz the technology partners involved with the project including FANUC Robotics, Lock Inspection, Festo, Tascol Shore and Aetna.

New generation FANUC palletiser unveiled!

In 1998, FANUC appointed Pacepacker its strategic partner for palletising. Handling all of FANUC’s integration and palletising installations, Pacepacker is delighted to unveil the latest generation of robot palletiser which is smaller, stronger and faster than any of its predecessors! Costing no more than its counterparts, the new FANUC M410iC/185 palletising robot has a higher payload of 185kg, a reduction in size (with a smaller base size), increased throughput averaging 1700 cycles per hour, and has been designed with 20% less parts! Ideal for palletising boxes, sacks, crates and trays, the four-axis robot has the highest wrist load inertia in its class, making it suitable for handling bulky items such as bags of flour using large grippers, as well as compact, heavy items, like wholesale tins of food or bottle crates.

See FANUC’s new palletiser along with the latest weighing, bagging, metal inspection and stretch wrapping equipment in action!
