The Package Goods Regulation Seminar- From Sartorius and the British Retail Consortium

14 October 2013

Offering the most comprehensive legislation and consumer protection training, direct from the experts.

Due to demand, Sartorius have added two additional dates to their popular “Explanation” seminar series. This November from the 13th till the 14th, Sartorius Industrial Weighing will be bringing together experts from Trading Standards and the British Retail Consortium for a two day seminar offering the most comprehensive legislation and consumer protection training, direct from the experts.

This year, the two day seminar will be held at the world famous Silverstone Grand Prix track, and promises to equip all attendees with the information they need to remain compliant with all the current legislation for manufacturing packaged products.

To help make the experience as memorable as possible, Sartorius have arranged for a little break from the training, and at the end of the first day all delegates will have the opportunity to be driven around the Silverstone circuit by a not so tame professional racing driver, in an equally not so tame racing car. On day 2 a full tour of Silverstone will be provided.

Day one, taking place on November 13th will see trading standards representatives in consultation with NWML explain the most important aspects of average weight legislation.

The training, direct from those responsible for teaching Trading Standards officers, gives a clear and consistent understanding of the legal requirements to anyone packaging to volume.

Day two will allow participants to learn how the BRC global standards are working to improve consumer safety, directly from the BRC’s technical Director. Explanation 2013 will mark the first time that Trading Standards and BRC global standards experts have been brought together under one roof. View agenda

This unique two day seminar will be the only place that you can attend both a highly detailed seminar series on retail requirements and a certified training on average weight control.

Places are limited so to reserve yours, or to find out more about the seminar please visit http://www.sartorius.com/explanation-uk

All training materials, certification and lunch will be provided on both days, the cost for attending one of the 2 days is £178 or attendees can benefit from a discounted rate of £300 to attend both days.

For booking please email explanation2013@sartorius.com or complete the registration form online.
