Britvic to discuss engineering apprenticeships at A4E

30 August 2013

Britvic is the latest company to confirm a speaker at this year’s Appetite for Engineering (A4E), providing information on its engineering apprenticeship programme.

One of the UK’s two leading branded soft drinks businesses, Britvic’s brands include Robinsons, J20 and Tango.

Sam Richards, a Britvic engineering apprentice, will be discussing his role and how the role has charged his passion for the food & beverage industry. A4E will provide a platform for Sam to advise on the best ways to encourage young people into the industry, as well as marketing the sector as a challenging career prospect.

Sam’s talk will be part of A4E’s Responsibility stream, which is focusing on the challenges of the growing skills gap. Additional speakers include Justine Fosh, CEO of the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink; Val Braybrooks, Dean at the University of Lincoln; and Melanie Leech, Director of the Food & Drink Federation.

Appetite for Engineering takes place on 25 September at Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth. To book early bird delegate places, click here.
