YPS acquire Camline!

06 August 2013

Yorkshire Packaging Systems Ltd, the leading supplier of shrink wrapping systems who recently celebrated 35 years in business are proud to announce their recent acquisition of Camline Products and Services who are established experts in the field of automation with experience in providing systems, robots and palletisers.

As a result of this successful acquisition, Yorkshire Packaging Systems now have the ability to offer turnkey automated solutions to the packaging industry. Along with their standard shrink wrapping machinery, they can now deliver robotics, palletisation, conveyor systems and bespoke handling equipment to the market.

In addition to the design and in-house manufacture mentioned above, Yorkshire Packaging Systems are also offering integration of other production machinery including print and apply systems, tray erectors, case erectors and top closers and sealers. Camline Products and Services in their own right are an accredited system partner with A.B.B. which gives other opportunities for robot integration.

The YPS turnkey automation reduces manual labour to an absolute minimal on end of line packaging processes.

Glyn Johnson, YPS M.D. says ‘This is a wonderful acquisition and will help further strengthen our position in the marketplace and enable us to offer complete turnkey packaging solutions.’
