Realtime switch for Profinet

The new FL Switch IRT real-time switches, part of the Factory Line from Phoenix Contact, are designed for use in Profinet networks. Profinet applications are accommodated through the built-in Ertec technology.

Also, cut-through switching results in short latency times when forwarding data packets. The switches feature an integrated Profinet IO device that allows for full configuration and monitoring via the Profinet controller.

The devices are equipped with either two or three polymer fiber ports, providing the basis for interference-free, diagnostic-capable fiber optic systems. Thanks to their compact design, the switches readily fit into flat control cabinets.
