The Testo 104-IR Thermometer fulfils the two most important functions for measuring the temperature of food: non-contact measurement with an infrared sensor and contact meas-urement with a penetration probe - all in one single instrument.

The infrared sensor measures surface temperature without contact, quickly and reliably. The most important technical functions of the Testo 104-IR are not only its clever "one product, two purposes" feature, but also its high level of measurement accuracy. Its 2-point laser with 10:1 optics guarantees that users will make no mistakes when carrying out measurements. This is because the two laser points mark the position to be measured precisely. The robust design and folding joint make the Testo 104-IR a reliable temperature measuring instrument that is ideal for everyday use, for incoming goods, in the warehouse, in cold storage or in an industrial kitchen.

"This instrument makes complying with all the food safety standards such as HACCP or EN13485 easy", explains Matthias Germer. "As soon as the probe is opened up, the display is activated and I can start measuring straight away. The laser responds by the simple touch of a button". The Testo 104-IR is so practical and intuitive to use that it is not even necessary for personnel to un-dertake extensive training beforehand. Which saves both time and costs.
