Jardox invests in new factory

15 August 2012

Jardox Limited, the food manufacturing company and ingredients supplier, based in Sevenoaks, has continued with its ongoing expansion by acquiring another site.

Jardox, known for creating the tastes behind the brands, currently operates out of two large factory buildings in Sevenoaks, and has recently acquired the adjacent site on the same industrial estate, which is currently being built to accommodate a larger factory space, development kitchens and new offices.

The new site will house two impressive, purpose built presentation and development kitchens; a disaster recovery facility; a high care facility; production expansion; warehouses and offices.

The new kitchens will allow its development chefs to create more quality, bespoke products for its clients. The superb presentation facility and conference room, which will comfortably seat ten guests, is also available to Jardox clients to develop new concepts andcreate exciting and innovative products with Jardox’s on site development chefs and technologists.

It is an exciting time for Jardox, which is over 100 years old and is a major player in the UK food-manufacturing sector. The company prides itself on excellent customer support, authentic and quality ingredients, rapid sample and technical support and a complete portfolio of wet and dry savoury solutions. The major refurbishment of the new factory site reflects the solid expansion of the business, which supplies the main retailers, food manufacturers and food service companies.

Alex Gardener, Managing Director, Jardox Limited, says: “We have enjoyed impressive growth over the last few years, with excellent client wins and an increase in production, so the need to expand was evident. We have found the perfect solution in creating a new factory next to our existing ones to keep Jardox in its current home. We look forward to even greater successes with our new site and continued investment in staff, technology and quality ingredients.”

The new factory is due to be completed in December 2012.
