Temperature sensors for food and industrial applications

18 May 2012

The range of Labfacility thermocouple and PRT sensors meets the needs of virtually any application. Standard configurations or custom made assemblies are offered in all of the widely used calibrations, type J, K,T E,N,R,S and B

Special designs for food applications allow for full immersion and sterilization as required and utilize stainless steel, closed, welded tip probes. Configurations include hand-held probes with a wide range of alternative tip designs including surface, penetration, air and flat leaf types.

Mineral insulated thermocouples are offered with 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 3.0mm and 6.0mm sheath diameters. The 0.5mm diameter thermocouples combine low thermal mass and fast response to temperature changes with durable construction; they are highly flexible and their use minimizes process intrusion.
Mineral insulated PRT sensors are also available.

All thermocouples comply with cable colour codes and tolerances to IEC 584-3 .A family of installation fittings and compensating thermocouple connectors manufactured by Labfacility is also available from stock.
