PPMA Group Industry Awards launched

The PPMA Group, the trade associations operating within the Machinery, Robotics, Polymers and Industrial Vision sectors has announced it will launch a cross industry awards event covering all four sectors

The gala dinner event and awards will be presented on the evening of the first day of the PPMA show - 25 September, at the National Motorcycle Museum adjacent to the PPMA show at the NEC. The awards will include categories for Processing and Packaging Machinery, Automation and Robotics, Polymer Machinery Manufacturing and Distributors and Industrial Vision.

Grant Collier Head of Marketing at the PPMA group said "We think that it is important to recognise and reward excellence within the four sectors that we represent. There are many impressive development stories across British manufacturing at the moment from innovative research and development to healthy levels of exports, and particularly within the automotive market."

He continued: "The benefits of winning an industry award and particularly an accolade endorsed by a trade body, has great marketing, PR and sales benefits for winning companies. This will also help to raise the profile of excellence within British manufacturing and engineering".

The awards will be judged by an independent judging panel drawn from the industry for years of experience in their particular disciplines.

1. Most Innovative Processing or Packaging Machine
2. Processing and Packaging Machinery Manufacturer of the Year
3. Most Innovative Machine Vision Project of the Year
4. Most Innovative Machine Automation System of the Year
5. Polymer Equipment Manufacturer or Distributor of the Year
6. Exporter of the Year
7. Exceptional Growth Award
8. Partnership of the Year
9. Customer Service Award
10. Outstanding Achievement
