Wireless Andon light monitoring system on show at Foodex

09 March 2012

A simple to install effective method of measuring machinery or workstation efficiency. This year at Foodex WERMA will be demonstrating a revolutionary new Andon Light monitoring system for machines and workstations.

The system, consisting of a transmitter, receiver and software package, can easily be retrofiited to any machine and is also compatible with the popular range of WERMA KS70/71 signal towers.

The system collects the data of Beacon or Signal Tower light changes and displays the information as pie charts or run time charts on a local pc giving real time machine or workstation status. The data can also be used to provide historical analysis of OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency).

The system uses a plug and play software and transmits the data at the European approved band ensuring no interference with other equipment.

The system is low cost, very easy to install and most facilities will require only minimal hard wiring, if any at all.
