There isn't much time left to book your place and be among more than 200 delegates at the next Appetite for Engineering at the Hinckley Island Hotel in Leicestershire on 23 June

It's your last chance to meet a star-studded line-up of speakers and have one-to-ones with the likes of Heinz, Coca-Cola, VION Food Group and Honeytop Speciality Foods as we prepare for what is likely to be the biggest Appetite yet.

Appetite for Engineering has a reputation for outstanding presentations and a loyal sponsor base that includes companies such as ABB, Siemens, Ishida Europe, Bosch Rexroth, Rittal, Festo, the PPMA, and many others.

Companies that have spoken in the past include Sainsburys, Asda, Marks & Spencer, Lloyds TSB, British Sugar, AB Agri, the National Skills Academy for Food & Drink Manufacturing, the Chilled Food Association, and many more.

But this year may just outdo them all. From Coca-Cola Enterprises to Heinz, VION Food Group and Unilever, the food industry will certainly be out in force. Jos van Limberghen, an automation engineer at CCE, will talk about machine downtime and documentation, a subject which will certainly gain a lot of attention from delegates, many of whom will have faced similar problems themselves.

To kick it all off however will be Lord Rupert Redesdale, the chairman of the Anaerobic Digestion & Biogas Association, who will talk about several issues affecting the food industry. His interest in waste management will be mirrored by a later talk between Stephen Woodgate (right), CEO of FABRA, and Bob Carss (left), environmental manager of VION Food Group.

These are two of Europe's most progressive meat industry organisation and they'll be joining forces to explore how food processors can capitalise on the environmental conditions of animal by-products. The two will consider why green energy and renewables recovered from animal by-products are an essential part of carbon credit calculations.
