Add traceabilty 'for less than 0.03p per carton'

27 May 2011

Tests carried out by Codeology are said to show the i100 Large Character Ink Jet Printer can produce nearly 650,000 characters from a single litre of ink

This means that using the i100 to add a typical use-by date or a batch code to the side of a typical supermarket outer will cost less than 0.03p.

Made from stainless-steel the i100 is suitable for ambient and chilled environments and can print time, dates and day-of-year automatically. It even has the ability to work out and print your forward date codes for you, removing operator error and freeing up labour who currently hand-label or hand-stamp your boxes.

Using simple technology means the printer has no complicated start-up or shut-down procedures, requires no make-up or solvents and is virtually maintenance-free.
