Codeology Print and Apply slashes Alatoni Foods overtime costs

13 May 2011

The expansion of Alatoni Foods in Bicester meant they had to automate labelling to save labour costs and improve throughput

Unfortunately their very narrow production area meant they had trouble finding a labeller to fit, until they called Codeology.

Although the standard Codeology P100 print and apply fitted on one line the space for a second line was limited. Codeology came up with the answer; a special ‘mirror image’ machine which was specified, designed, built and installed in only four weeks.

Since commissioning both lines Alatoni have improved efficiency, met their throughput demands and completely removed the need for overtime on both lines.
