Advance Automated Systems, a UK manufacturer and leading supplier of modular high quality belt conveyors built from extruded aluminium profile, powder coated steel or stainless-steel can also offer bespoke vacuum belt conveyors to meet customer’s individual applications and provide secure and precise product orientation.
Advance vacuum belt conveyors are often specified to provide a technical solution in holding flat parts or packaging to the belt surface for elevation changes, traction or securing product for scanning, application of print, labels or accurate feed into online machines.
These conveyors are very versatile and can even hold product on the underside for transporting items overhead or across an open area that could be operating a vision system.
Advance Automated Systems have manufactured vacuum belt conveyors in a wide variety of lengths and width configurations to suit specific applications and can build bespoke framework to enable easy mounting of other OEM equipment.
Vacuum belt conveyors are created using a perforated belt through which air is drawn via grooves in the bed of a standard conveyor. With many years experience in the processing and packaging industry, Advanced Automated Systems combine expert belt and control technology with engineered vacuum pumps to ensure precision part location and optimum results for each customer.
Available as standalone modules or supplied as an integrated system solution linking other OEM equipment, every vacuum conveyor is engineered to the meet the exacting needs in handling customer products such as sheet materials such as card and paper, empty plastic bottles, injection molded parts, packages for inkjet printing, labeling or inspection / vision systems etc.
Designed for light to medium-duty applications, Advance vacuum conveyors can also be supplied with a perforated bedplate to accommodate cooling and draining applications. Pre-manufactured holes in the bedplate allow air to naturally flow through the frame and bedplate of the conveyor, cooling passing product.
Advance Automated Systems can visit and review current production processes and advice on how best to improve handling efficiency and throughput, recommending the most suitable forms of conveyor for each application and if required, design bespoke conveyor systems tailored to suit your individual needs.
