Environmental solutions 'centre stage for Nicholl'

02 March 2011

An environmentally-friendly ovenable paperboard tray with a leak proof rim which is suitable for MAP, will be one of the highlights displayed by Nicholl Food Packaging on stand C10 at Pro2Pac

The new tray pack joins a number of recent new product introductions from Nicholl that underline the company’s commitment to create a product range to meet the environmental requirements of its customers.

The new DeLight tray range from Stora Enso is now available from Nicholl, who is the UK and Ireland distributor. The trays meet the need for quality product presentation and pack differentiation on shelf with a sustainable solution that matches the environmental concerns of today’s consumers.

It features a hybrid construction where paperboard is enhanced with polymers to offer a number of sustainable advantages including lightweight, recyclability, the use of mainly renewable raw materials, and a high amount of bio-energy in production, all of which contribute to a reduced carbon footprint.
