Climate's new range of condensing units for refrigeration
08 February 2011
Climate Center has launched a range of 'high efficiency' Zeas (Variable Refrigerant Volume) condensing units for refrigeration applications

Made by Daikin, the new Zeas range of inverter-controlled condensing units is designed to deliver high efficiency, low-cost operation with refrigeration applications with constantly fluctuating loads.
They're therefore ideal for use in supermarkets, cold stores, forecourt shops, restaurants and florists. Zeas units are equipped with DC inverter-driven scroll compressors and deliver a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of up to 3.0, a level of efficiency not obtainable with traditional non-inverter technology.
They are based on the high capacity refrigerant R410A, making systems compact with a small foot-print, enabling installation of large cooling capacities in areas with restricted space.
Inverter control gives the twin benefit of reduced stop/start cycles, prolonging equipment life, and precise matching of cooling capacity to load, ensuring low running costs.
Zeas units are available for use in medium temperature (12.2 to 37kW capacities) and low temperature applications (5.4 to 15.1kW).
The packaged units are factory tested and housed in a weather-proof enclosure. They come with pre-programmed controls for quick and simple installation and commissioning.
