Poland goes nuts for Zeina Foods

15 December 2010

Snacks manufacturer Zeina Foods has announced it's to be the exclusive supplier of flavoured nuts to the Polish delicatessen chain Alma

Hitting the shelves of the chain's upmarket franchises across Poland will be 10 lines from the Zeina Love Our Foods 200g range of Iranian pistachios, cashews and almonds, which have all been packaged in the UK specifically for the Polish market.

Zeina Foods' printing and packaging facilities at the company's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in West Yorkshire, coupled with its translation service provided a considerable cost saving for Alma.

Seasoned nuts are new to Poland and Zeina Foods is confident that its renowned selection of flavoured snacks, which include Italian inspired sun dried tomato, basil & garlic cashews, zesty chilli & lime cashews and sweet morish toffee almonds & hazelnuts, will go down well with Polish consumers.

A representative of Alma commented: "Alma is an extremely forward thinking company and strives to lead by example. The Zeina Love Our Foods flavoured nuts are unique and will definitely be a strong point of difference for our stores. Alma prides itself on being able to introduce new tastes and textures to the Polish market as and when they emerge from overseas.

"We have been tremendously impressed with the quality of Zeina Foods' products. Its artisan method of hand coating the nuts with particular flavourings gives a superior finish unlike anything else available on the Polish market."

Zeina Foods understands the importance of getting new products to market quickly and is dedicated to providing its customers with a committed hands on service, which makes it the number one choice for many retailers, wholesales and cash and carry outlets worldwide.
