Yorkshire crisps go national

01 December 2010

The Yorkshire Crisp Company has secured its first national listing with well-known wine merchant and off-licence, Oddbins

Following a trial in ten of their London stores, these deliciously moreish gourmet crisps will now be available nationwide in up to 158 stores, in two flavours – Henderson’s Yorkshire Sauce, and Chardonnay Wine Vinegar, in large 150g sharing bags.

Said Tim Wheatley, of The Yorkshire Crisp Company, "This is a very exciting opportunity and will bring our product to a much wider audience, enabling them to enjoy Yorkshire Crisps as the perfect accompaniment to a glass of wine or two this Christmas."

Yorkshire Crisps can also now be found at luxury hotel chain Malmaison and Hotel du Vin. All 20 of the upmarket hotels will now have 100g drums of Yorkshire Crisps available in the hotel room mini-bars.

Said Scott Harper, Group Operations Director, "We are always looking for innovative products for our mini-bars at Malmaison and Hotel du Vin and Yorkshire Crisps with their quirky flavours, unique and distinctive packaging combined with a great homemade-style product fit the bill perfectly!"

Yorkshire Crisps are made from totally natural ingredients using local vegetables and are available in ten flavours. They come in unique 100g re-sealable stay-fresh drums with selected flavours also available in single 40g bags, large 150g sharing bags and 500g catering packs.
