Safety Systems Tech 'relocates as business grows'

03 September 2010

Safety Systems Technology, partner company of Laidler Associates, has relocated to new premises in Halifax as it expands its business offering customers machine safety solutions

The company has been in business for more than 20 years and says it's able to provide cost-effective, engineering project management solutions for machinery safety requirements. It designs and installs ''the most appropriate safety solutions using products from their portfolio of manufacturers''.

Commenting on the need to relocate to accommodate the expansion in the business, sales director Gary Trewhitt said: “Over the past couple of years we have seen excellent growth in the business and it became clear that in order to expand we would have to relocate to new premises. Our new facilities enable us to offer a wider range of services and have the ability to manage these services in-house.

“The launch of Guardsafe, our in-house guarding department, is a prime example. We can now offer a full machine guarding service, including design, manufacture and installation. All guarding is CE Marked in accordance with the new Machinery Directive

“At Safety Systems, we are able to provide our customers with bespoke solutions on a variety of levels that have been created with their specific needs in mind. This can mean that we project manage the whole solution by taking a machine through a full compliance procedure, or carry out risk assessments, safety inspections and then sourcing and installing products. I believe that it’s our customer-orientated approach that really helped lead to our expansion and it will ensure we continue to grow in the future”.
