'Cost effective system' from Bosch Rexroth

20 April 2010

The conveyor system VarioFlow from Bosch Rexroth is said to be a high-performance, cost-effective system for material handling links between machines in the fields of food and packaging

Its modular design and the wide range of components available offer customers to easily adapt VarioFlow to their specific requirements in a very short time.

VarioFlow is designed for the horizontal and vertical handling of products of all types. Compared with systems previously available on the market, VarioFlow features a plastic chain with considerably higher tensile force and enhanced directional flexibility. Bosch Rexroth already offers a wide range of additional conveyor chains, including cleated chains, ESD chains and steel-plated chains. Especially adapted to the needs of the packaging industry, two other chain types, friction-top chains and roller-top chains, will be available shortly.

Customers have a choice of different drive stations to meet their specific requirements. Apart from head and transmission drives, the range also includes two drive units, curve wheel and connecting drives, respectively, for conveyor systems with single track chain.

All motors can be supplied with plug-type connectors or integrated frequency converters for optimum adaptation to machine requirements and yields. For this reason, VarioFlow offers customers high planning security.

The integrated standard groove allows the use of all components of the comprehensive structural framing system from Bosch Rexroth. This results in a wide range of both practicable and economical applications, as well as easy subsequent expandability, in the packaging industry.
