Exclusive distribution deal

Keylink says it's delighted to be appointed exclusive distributor for Ravifruit in England and Wales. The agreement begins with the launch of Ravifruit ambient fruit purees this month.
French based Ravifruit supplies fruit products to the global food industry and its ambient fruit purees are one of its flagship products. Now for the first time, food manufacturers, caterers and chocolatiers will have access to a convenient ambient fruit product format.
Ravifruit is a 100% natural product comprising 90% fruit and 10% sugar (to act as a preservative and flavour enhancer), with no added colours, flavour or preservatives. The fresh taste is achieved by flash pasteurisation whereby the fruit is heated then cooled very quickly to avoid any damage to the product. Fruit used by Ravifruit always comes from the same place (often locally in the Rhone Valley region of France) to ensure consistency of taste, texture, flavour and colour and strict rules are imposed on farmers regarding the treatment of the fruit trees and timing of the harvest to ensure quality. Ravifruit utilises a unique processing system (known as variable temperature cold system) to preserve the natural fruit characteristics and guarantee a consistently high level of quality.
Ravifruit’s 17-strong range of ambient fruit purees come in convenient 1 litre Elopak cartons and have a 12 month shelf life. The ideal storage conditions are at below 15°C. Flavours include raspberry, mango, passionfruit, white peach, mandarin and many more. They do not tie up valuable freezer space and, once opened, can be refrigerated for three days. Unlike frozen fruit purees there is no need for lengthy defrosting because the Ravifruit ambient purees are ready to use instantly. Ravifruit purees are designed for the professional caterers, chocolatier and food manufacturer and can be used in a wide variety of gourmet, fruit-based applications for chocolates, desserts, ice creams, sorbets, patisserie and pastries as well as both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.
