Dawn Foods appoints new business service director

Sweet bakery specialist Dawn Foods has appointed Sally Dowling its business services director for Europe. In her new role she'll be responsible for Finance, IT and Systems across Dawn’s European business.
Having trained as a Chartered Accountant with PWC, working both in the UK and Singapore, Sally moved out of practice to work for Electric City, a Kingfisher subsidiary, as Financial Controller, overseeing the successful sale of the business to Australian retailer Harvey Norman.
She then became Regional Finance Director for Tibbett & Britten’s Asian Operations, based in Singapore. After several years working in Asia and the Far East, Sally returned to the UK and joined the Mayborn Group plc in their Baby & Child Division as Finance Director for TP Toys before joining Dawn earlier this year.
Commenting on her appointment, Sally says: “This is an exciting opportunity to bring my extensive international experience to the European team as well as gain industry experience in the Food Sector. Dawn Foods is a dynamic, empowering place to work with great products, customers and people.”
Sally lives in rural Worcestershire with husband Ian, daughter Isabella aged four and son Rory just two, who keep her busy. When she does have free time she enjoys travelling and keeping active playing tennis.
