Specialist glass manufacturer Beatson Clark along with its sister company Pont Packaging is supplying a new 1ltr milk bottle to Flemish company Inza

When Inza had a problem sourcing a supplier who could be flexible with regard to bottle production, Dutch based Pont Packaging recommended Beatson Clark as the perfect solution.

Beatson Clark and Pont Packaging have been working in partnership for many years and this relationship is said top be flourishing, with the two working together on several further projects this year. Inza is a long-standing customer of Pont Packaging and this new 1lt white flint returnable bottle joins the 200ml bottle of flavoured milk that Beatson Clark already supplies.

Sold in Supermarkets throughout Belgium, Inza is a well-respected brand of sterilized milk, long life milk, milkdrinks and functional food and the company supply more than 125 million litres of milk every year. The new bottle has a crown neck and traditional style, complementing the respect in which the product is held. The first shipment of 200,000 of the new 1ltr milk bottles has already been filed, with Beatson Clark ready to respond to any future change in volume.

“Our flexibility and the close working relationship we develop with our customers is never more important than when working with our European partners,” said marketing manager Charlotte Taylor, “our relationship with Pont Packaging is a good example of how well placed we are in Europe to supply export clients such as Inza who need a flexible supplier who can react quickly to changing market demands.”

Making up 20% of the company’s business, the export market remains an important one for Beatson Clark and the relationship with sister companies such as Pont Packaging is an essential part of developing this further, particularly in Europe.
