Marco buck jobs trend with appointments

Marco says it is defying the economic downturn by expanding its sales and marketing teams in the UK and Holland, in line with its aggressive expansion plans in the UK and overseas for 2009
The factory efficiency system experts have appointed two sales and marketing coordinators. Sian Spencer has recently joined the UK team to assist with the sales and marketing activities. Sian has been working in marketing communications since finishing her degree in Journalism and will this summer complete her masters in Business Management and Marketing.
At Marco BV in the south of The Netherlands, multi-lingual Sharon van de Ven will be fulfilling a similar role to support European sales and marketing activities. Sharon already has a diploma in marketing and is currently studying for a degree in Small Business and Retail Management. Marco BV is the hub for Marco’s European expansion, which has already seen the appointment of agents in France and Germany, together with a strategic partnership in Holland.
Marco’s marketing director Mandy Hart is excited about the expansion plans and as she concludes: “Marco efficiency systems are playing vital roles in leading food and beverage manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and fruit pack-houses across Europe, where they are bringing crucial cost savings and increased operational efficiency. The recent in-house personnel expansions, together with the appointment of agents in key market areas, are vital to support our ongoing growth strategy.”
