Cold store facility helps startup pet food producer

07 January 2018

Raw Made Simple a start-up business that specialises in raw food for dogs needed a powerful refrigeration solution capable of rapidly freezing produce within a 24-36 hour timeframe. The company turned to Cold Store Rentals.

The team from Cold Store Rentals installed a new 3m x 4.5m freezer powered by a Zanotti electrical refrigeration system. The bespoke, modular cold store unit has been designed to be more easily relocated at a later stage if required, or even extended.

Working within the existing fabric of the building, the installation was completed – from start to finish – in a single day. Furthermore, it took only 3 months to transform the empty units into a fully fitted out and compliant DEFRA approved manufacturing plant.

Cold Store Rentals was also able to facilitate a financial package for the cold storage equipment and a blending/mixing machine to grind the ingredients, using Satellite Finance.
