Average Weight Control Seminar: Find out how to increase profit and reduce giveaway

20 August 2017

Minebea Intec is hosting a seminar that will bring together a variety of experts to explain the Packaged Goods Regulation for average weight control of pre-packaged goods.

The Seminar is being held at the  Concorde Conference Centre, at Manchester Airport on 5th September 2017. Beneath this iconic plane, experts will explain the requirements of the legislation.

Delegates will discover how to increase profits through a reduction in giveaway or overfill and how to reduce the resources needed to meet the regulation through automatic collection of data.

Howard Burnett is the main speaker. He was formerly Chief Trading Standards Officer, Convenor of WELMEC (European Legal Metrology Co-operation) Working Group on Prepackages.  He was instrumental in creating the current Package Goods Regulation and also training the UKs Trading Standards Officers.

Delegates will also have an opportunity to pose any questions to the experts, while not being audited or inspected! All supporting, legal documentation and certification will be issued upon completion.

Delegates will also get the rare opportunity to go on board the Concorde, G-BOAC (affectionately known as ‘Alpha Charlie’) which was the flagship of British Airways Concorde fleet. You will be guided by an expert who has worked and flown on the Concorde, who tell the story about its 27 supersonic years of flight.

The seminar will cost £189.00 per delegate including lunch, all training material and certification. Food Processing readers have been offered a 20% discount. Simply quote the FP17/07 discount code when booking your space. Click here for more information.
