WMH acquires GJM Engineering

28 June 2016

WMH has extended its in-house manufacturing capabilities with the acquisition of precision engineering company GJM Engineering.

After 30 years in business, owner and founder of GJM Engineering Graham Massey is hanging up his tools and looking forward to a hard earned retirement.  Graham has provided machining support to Western Mechanical Handling for the past forty years.

The machining workshop will continue to operate from premises close to the main WMH headquarters on Moss Side Industrial Estate, Callington, as a division of WMH, providing vital machining services to WMH and to their other customers.

The acquisition secures employment for GJM’s three machine tool operators who have over 50-years engineering expertise between them and allows WMH to continue to have easy access to a machine workshop.
